Game Overview
Decrypto is a team-based game of code-breaking and communication. Players compete in two teams, each trying to:
- Correctly interpret their teammates' coded messages
- Crack intercepted codes from the opposing team
Game Rules
Key Mechanics:
- Each team maintains 4 secret words (visible only to teammates)
- Code cards show 3-number sequences (e.g. 4-2-1)
- Clue givers create word associations for their sequence
- Teams earn:
- ⚪ White marks for successful interceptions
- ⚫ Black marks for failed interpretations
Round Structure:
- First Round:
- Teams establish initial codes using their secret words
- Example clue: "Sam-striped-pink" for sequence 4-2-1
- Subsequent Rounds:
- Opposing teams attempt to intercept codes
- Successful interception awards white mark
- Failed team interpretation awards black mark
- End Game:
- Victory at 2 white marks
- Defeat at 2 black marks
- Tiebreaker after 8 rounds: Guess opponent's secret words
